WHY DO I ACT…
Stepping into the boots of another is the highest form of empathy. To smile as they would, sit, eat, drink, and feel as they would shapes my humanity. It reminds me of the wedding of gratitude. To put on a costume of humanity and take it off after the curtain falls leaves my soul richer than it was at the beginning.
