WHY DO I WRITE…
Words have always provided a curtain, a shield against hurt, a catalyst for love, a whirlpool for understanding, and a reminder that I’ll always be a learner, whatever that means. How verbiage jousts against misinformation and ignorance; how she perpetuates intention and / or masks it. I write because betwixt the firmament and it writing provides solace—a blanket for feelings. Besides aren’t we all at our core story tellers? Through writing I can tell my story, an unfiltered perception of the world, as best I can.
