WHY DO I SING…
To mar the air with talk, why’s and why not’s, on how and what music means to me or even if I dare to drink brevity or hope for inspiration—words will never meet the mark. I sing because incessant melodies, tunes and hums torment me. I sing to clean the room, to set free the heaven and hell we all feel at different junctures of our existence. More so, on a lighter note, musicians are rather cool.
My Sound…
I think of my sound as a series of unhealthy affairs. A wife perhaps I find in Afrobeat, a sincere doting mistress in Contemporary Folk, and a whimsical disembarrassed off-and-on lewd escapade with Rock and Roll.
Yet, I sing from nothing and dance to nothing but everything in anything that truly moves me.
